Meet the Founders
emporium. is run by husband and wife team Sarah & Trevor Crysell. Our passion for anything antique and vintage started almost 30 years ago when furnishing their home and it has now grown into a full time obsession and now full time business.
Over the last 10 years we had a smaller shop and stalled out at antique fairs across the UK, honing our knowledge. Having lived in London for many years, we first moved down into Kent and then in the first lockdown decided that life by the sea is what we had been hankering for all along. Best move ever!
3 years ago, we set up in a small space in Rye and then into the emporium. and in 2025 had the opportunity to take it over and here we are!
